1. Who We Are

KisanDrone.com ("KisanDrone", "we", "us", "our") is a brand of GenPS Company, based in Pandharpur, Maharashtra, India. We sell DGCA-approved agricultural drones and related products, and provide drone demonstrations, pilot training, drone licence assistance, EMI/loan facilitation assistance, batteries, spare parts, and after-sales support to farmers and agri-entrepreneurs.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect about you, how we collect it — including through our website, Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp — how we use it, whom we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. By using our website, submitting an enquiry form, messaging us, or availing our products and services, you agree to this Policy.

2. Information We Collect

A. Information you give us directly

• Contact details: your name, mobile number, WhatsApp number, email address, village, taluka, district and postal address.
• Farming details: land holding (acres), crops grown, current spraying methods, and whether your interest is for your own farm or for a spraying-service business.
• Enquiry & booking details: the drone model you are interested in, demo booking preferences, training registrations, and purchase or booking records.
• Finance-related documents (only if you request EMI/loan assistance): identity and address proof such as Aadhaar and PAN, land records such as the 7/12 extract, bank statements, photographs, and other documents required by the lending bank or NBFC. We collect these solely to help you apply for financing and forward them to the concerned lender with your consent.
• Training & licensing details: information required for pilot training records and for assisting with your drone licence application under applicable DGCA rules.

B. Information we receive from Facebook and Instagram (Meta)

We advertise on Facebook and Instagram, which are operated by Meta Platforms, Inc. ("Meta"). When you interact with our advertisements:

• If you submit a lead form (Instant Form) on Facebook or Instagram, we receive the information you submit, which typically includes your name and phone number (pre-filled from your Meta profile with your consent) and your answers to our questions (such as farm size, purpose of purchase, and taluka/district).
• If you comment on, message, like, or otherwise engage with our Pages or posts, we can see that engagement and your public profile name, and may respond to you there.
• Meta also provides us with aggregated, non-identifying statistics about our advertisements and audience (for example, how many people in an age group viewed an ad). We do not receive your private Meta account data.

Your use of Facebook and Instagram is also governed by Meta's own Privacy Policy, which we do not control.

C. Information we receive on WhatsApp

• When you message us on our WhatsApp Business numbers (9429694647 / 9112692979), we receive your phone number, your WhatsApp profile name, and the contents of the messages, photos or documents you choose to send us.
• We may save your number to respond to your enquiry, send you the information you requested (prices, EMI details, demo invitations), and — only if you have contacted us or consented — occasional offers and updates via WhatsApp broadcast.
• You can opt out of promotional WhatsApp messages at any time by replying "STOP", after which we will only contact you for service-related matters you have requested.

D. Information collected automatically on our website

• Cookies and similar technologies: our website may use cookies and analytics tools to understand visits and improve the site.
• Meta Pixel and advertising tools: we may use the Meta Pixel and similar advertising tools, which collect standard device and browsing information (such as pages visited on our site) to measure our advertising and show you relevant ads on Facebook and Instagram. You can control ad personalisation in your Meta account settings and through your browser's cookie settings.
• Log data: IP address, browser type, device type, and pages viewed, used for security and site improvement.

E. Information related to drone services and operations

• Demonstrations and spraying services: if we conduct a demo or spraying on your field, we may record field location/GPS coordinates, area covered, spray logs and operational flight data.
• Aerial imagery: our drones may capture aerial images or video of the field being serviced strictly for operational, calibration, demonstration and record-keeping purposes. We do not intentionally capture imagery of neighbouring private property or individuals, and we operate in accordance with the applicable Drone Rules and DGCA guidelines.
• Photos and videos at events: at demo days, training sessions and deliveries, we may take photographs or videos for our records and, only with your consent, for use in our marketing (testimonials, social media posts).

3. How We Use Your Information

• To respond to your enquiries and provide the information you request (prices, models, EMI details, availability).
• To schedule and conduct drone demonstrations, deliveries, installations and training.
• To assist you, at your request, with EMI/loan applications by preparing and forwarding your documents to banks or NBFCs.
• To assist you with drone licence and registration formalities under applicable DGCA rules.
• To provide warranty service, battery replacement, spare parts and after-sales support.
• To send you service updates, and — where you have enquired with us or consented — promotional offers, demo invitations and product news via WhatsApp, SMS or phone calls.
• To run, measure and improve our advertising on Facebook, Instagram, Google and other platforms.
• To maintain business records, comply with legal, tax and regulatory obligations, and prevent fraud.

4. Who We Share Your Information With

We share your information only when necessary, with:

• Banks and NBFCs (lending partners): your KYC and financial documents, only when you ask us for EMI/loan assistance, so the lender can process your application. The lender's use of your data is governed by its own privacy policy.
• Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google: limited advertising and measurement data as described in Section 2, so that our ads work and are measured correctly.
• Regulatory authorities: information required for drone registration, licensing and compliance under the Drone Rules and DGCA requirements, or where disclosure is required by law, court order or government authority.
• Service providers: logistics/courier partners for delivery (name, address, phone), and IT/communication service providers who help us run our website, CRM and WhatsApp Business — bound to use your data only for our purposes.
• Manufacturer/warranty partners: product and contact details needed to register and honour your warranty.

5. Data Retention

• Enquiry and lead details are retained for up to 24 months from your last interaction, so we can serve you across seasons.
• Purchase, warranty, invoice and licensing records are retained as long as required for warranty service and under applicable tax and legal requirements.
• Loan-assistance documents are forwarded to the lender and not retained by us longer than necessary to complete your application.
• You may ask us to delete your information earlier — see Section 7.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information — restricted access to lead data, verified business accounts on Meta and WhatsApp, and secure handling of KYC documents. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive documents to any number or page other than our official contacts listed below.

7. Your Rights and Choices

In line with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you;
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
• Withdraw consent and ask us to delete your information, subject to records we must keep by law (e.g., invoices, warranty and regulatory records);
• Opt out of marketing: reply "STOP" on WhatsApp, or tell any of our team members, and we will remove you from promotional lists;
• Raise a grievance with our Grievance Officer using the contact details below. We aim to respond within a reasonable time as required by law.

8. Children

Our products and services are intended for adults aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a minor has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Third-Party Links and Platforms

Our website, ads and messages may contain links to third-party platforms (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, YouTube, Google, lender websites). Their handling of your data is governed by their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to read. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party platforms.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the latest revision. Significant changes will be posted on this page. Your continued use of our website and services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
